The elliptical hideaway is made from pressure-formed laminated birch that’s upholstered with hypoallergenic polyester batting and covered with what they call Super Fabric. This fabric is made from 100% post consumer recycled polyester with a pebble grain texture and soft, silky feel. Mine leap onto and off of things, and uses things as a launching pad to propel themselves onward in their race across the apartment. They do occasionally knock over the smaller pieces, such as their shorter scratchers, and even my living room chairs. So, you are not alone in this!
