Mark your calendar, the NY Cat Film Festival, which debuted in New York City in December 2017, is coming to northern California!
The NY Cat Film Festival is an exploration through film of the fascinating felines who share our lives, creating a shared audience experience that inspires, educates and entertains. For far too long, felines have been the “invisible” part of the human-animal bond and it’s time to shine the spotlight on these magnificent creatures and the humans devoted to them.
In every location where the NY Cat Film Festival travels there will be a shelter or rescue partner in the community that will be the beneficiary and share in the proceeds of ticket sales. Those non-profit organizations will be honored as part of the festivities and will have the opportunity for education and outreach about adoption, as well as bringing adoptable cats to the theater at each destination.
