They sent us one to check out and the moment I opened the package, I knew this was going to be a big hit. I’m actually pretty excited about this product! The quality of the construction is outstanding, it feels like a fine piece of luggage, which helps make it even more attractive to cat, I think. This is a brilliant use of materials. The heavy duty coated cotton canvas exterior is durable and easy to wipe clean, and the thick eco-felt core gives the box just the right amount of stability, but it’s still flexible enough for cats to get comfy inside.
The box is small, creating the compressed feeling that cats like. In the photos above, Ando is about 15 lbs and Simba and Andy are each about 10 lbs so you can see it’s quite versatile. I love the way it snaps together, very easy to flatten out for cleaning, storage, or travel.

I wish they would consider shipping to Canada. (I checked – U.S. only.) For mailing purposes we are pretty much the same country.
As for the price – you pay less for cheap imports from Asia, or pay more for nice quality natural materials made in the U.S. It’s a choice we can make.
My black cat is heavier than Ando, AND had more hair so I’m guessing this would be too tight for her. I think she would like it but she does have quite a variety of perches and beds available.

Looks great, great idea. I recently came across several pictures online of cats squeezing into too small boxes, very funny. They really love tight boxes. Too bad the box and shipping are much too expensive–popped my balloon.
My cat LOVES his new snazzy box. And I love that I don’t have to keep unattracive cardboard boxes in my small aparment to keep him happy. The quality is excellent — durable and attractive. Well worth the price.

I should have bought two. I had a feeling one would love this but they both wanted to be in this after I snapped it together. As a matter of fact my boy sleeps in this now instead of his box. Great idea!
