I’m excited to share this incredible cat art from artist Anita Yan Wong. Anita’s unique style of “contemporary traditional” painting comes from her training as a Lingnan painter, combining modern Chinese, Japanese and Western painting approaches. Her style captures the movement of her subjects, particularly appropriate for painting cats!

Anita’s Ink Kittens are some of my favorites, so simple and elegant, just like cats themselves. These paintings are available in Anita’s three books, “Ink Kittens: The “Contemporary Traditional” feline paintings by Anita Yan Wong“, “Cat Philosophy: When Cat meet the World’s greatest minds“, and her newest book “Minimalist Cat Art“, all available on Amazon.

See more of Anita’s elegant cat art at anitayanwong.com and follow her on Instagram @anitayanwong.

One of Anita’s newest works, “Spring Dance,” is a two-panel piece that will be the largest cat painting in the world.

The flowing lines of Anita’s cat paintings have also been transformed into minimalist metal sculptures.
