We’re completely in love with the new Calypso Cat Scratcher from The Refined Feline! They carried this design a few years ago, and it disappeared for awhile, but now it’s back! This is the kind of scratcher that doubles as real home decor — it’s truly beautiful and cats love to scratch on it. Measuring 31″ tall with a sturdy 16″ round base, it’s the perfect size for stretching and scratching and there’s even enough room on top for perching.
The Calyspo scratcher is made from poly rattan, a woven synthetic material that cats love to dig their claws into, but it is also very sturdy and will stand up to years of use. The other thing I love about the poly rattan is that you can give it a good cleaning when needed, since this is the kind of material used for patio furniture. Just remove the rattan piece from the painted wood base before hosing it off, let it dry and you’re all set!
