Stimulo was originally designed to slow down speedy eaters. The toy comes with a sturdy base that holds tubes of different lengths. You put kitty’s dry food in the bottom of the tubes and she has to dig around to get it, slowing down her chow time and helping with digestion. You can also fill up the tubes with small toys and let kitty explore, keeping her busy for a while.

Except you shouldn’t feed your cat dry food to begin with.
Jerky is meat,; this could be used for treats. Shelters have to compromise on food form to save more kitties and the longer staying cats need enrichment and stimulation.
Why not feed dry food?
This is an intriguing concept. Keep thinking they need this for human children!
My two cats absolutely love ths! You can put dry food in a bowl and they will both walk past it to get dry food out of the stimulo. I actually found the base at Think Geek and got the taller tubes through amazon. Shipping rates are ridiculous to purchase straight from the people who make this since the company is in Canada. I recommended this to anyone who feeds their cats dry food or freeze dried treats.
