Cat cafes are popping up everywhere, some are permanent and some temporary. Temporary cat cafes are a quick and easy way to create a fun and inviting environment where people can meet adoptable cats. These pop-up adoption centers can be part of an event, like Priscilla’s Pop-up Cat Cafe that took place this week during The Animal Conference in Oklahoma City, or they can be held at a business or even in an empty store front for a short period of time.

The pop-up cat cafe is a great way for an organization that is thinking about creating a permanent cafe to get their feet wet and test the concept. They are also good for existing cat cafes to reach out to other neighborhoods father away from their home base, like we are doing with this event in Phoenix.

This Sunday kitties from La Gattara Cat Lounge & Boutique in Tempe, AZ will take a little field trip to Phoenix Animal Behavior Center in North Phoenix. These lucky cats and kittens are hitting the road in search of their forever homes and we are creating a fantastic space for them — and you! — to hangout in for the day.

This is our second pop-up cat cafe at Phoenix Animal Behavior Center. Everyone had so much fun last month playing with the cats and hanging out, we decided to do it again! Come on by this Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 10 am to 5 pm and for a $10 donation you can spend an hour visiting the kitties. Even if you’re not looking to add a new cat to your family it’s a great stress reliever! More info on Facebook.
