any concerns about the little “eye” and “nose” decorations on these toys coming off and getting swallowed?

The toys are not only individually handmade, but they are also individually rigorously hand-tested for safety. The stemmed eyes and nose are not merely superficially mounted, but are securely attached via a locking washer.
That said, anything that contains small parts presents the potential of a choking hazard. In the event that anything should come detached or separated from the toy, we strongly recommend discarding and replacing the toy, as is stated on the permanent label of each toy. As cat lovers ourselves, we take the safety of our products most seriously.
While we are still a young company, MyMouse® and Sockitty® have been road tested on many cats, none of whom have been injured playing with or laying on the toys. If you would feel more comfortable getting one without a face, we are happy to accommodate. Just drop us a note on our contact form.
