Here’s a new line of finely-crafted cat furniture designed for living in style with cats in a small space. Introducing City Cat Products, based in San Francisco, CA and founded by Mike Liberman. The line includes three elegant cat towers/beds, all of which would be perfect for Catifying any small space.
The Loft Book Tower is the largest piece, integrating a spiral cat climber with open shelves for storage and two large storage drawers on the bottom. The climber takes kitty all the way to the top where she can perch comfortably and survey her domain. It’s really a nice integration of cat and human functionality.
The other two pieces in the line include the smaller Penthouse Cat Tower and the Presidio Bunk Bed, both providing multiple levels for climbing and lounging in very stylish ways.
These products are in early development and each piece is being individually handmade by local craftsmen in the Bay area, so prices range from about $2500 to $3500. City Cat Products is currently running an Indiegogo Campaign to raise funds in order to streamline manufacturing processes and hopefully get prices down to about $1000 to $2500. Keep in mind, these are high-quality pieces of furniture that are designed to last many, many years! They are all designed with replaceable parts to extend their life and the designs are quite classic.
