Around Black Friday my girlfriend sent me a link to this page above where Captain Feline was selling the cool pop culture cat shirts, and the one with Frank N Further from Rocky Horror Picture Show caught my eye. My younger sister loves RHPS and has two twin black tom cats who are pushing 16 years old. It was a perfect Christmas present. I ordered the shirt and had it sent to my parent’s home across the country. The package arrived quickly, and I thought nothing more until Dec 21st.
Upon arriving at my parents, I was eager to wrap my sister’s new T-shirt for Christmas, but when I opened the package it was the wrong shirt in the wrong size. Oh no! I immediately checked the packaging and then my online order receipt. They didn’t match. I had ordered the correct size and shirt, but what I had didn’t match. I quickly emailed the company on a Saturday night, and within hours the owner, Kelly, emailed me back with apologies. I was sure I wouldn’t have the shirt in time for Christmas, but Kelly assured me she’d overnight the correct shirt to me on Monday morning.
By late morning Monday I had a tracking number in hand and Kelly’s phone number in case there were any other problems, and by late morning on Tuesday Christmas eve, the correct shirt and size arrived! I wrapped it and she loved it!
I was floored by the personal touch and attentiveness this small business owner put into her customer service. I was excited about how quickly she helped me, and, unlike some large corporations, she cares about the quality of her product and making sure she does right by the consumer.
