Melissa found an old 1950s-60s TV literally on the curb in her neighborhood and decided to get creative! She gutted the thing, cleaned it up, and turned it into a stylish cat bed!
This kitty hideaway is finished with mod wallpaper and it even has modern art on the wall. Melissa added a faux flokati rug inside and a battery operated LED light strip at the top so the TV “turns on”. Gordon (on top) and Frog (inside) both love the groovy new hangout!
These old timey television sets are so hard to come by. Retro is gold. I like this concept. Now I can’t decide if I want a cat bed or an aquarium. Hmmmm 0_o
Oh, how I wish I’d kept the retro green TV/radio/record player thing we had back in the day. *Sigh*
